LAKE GOGEBIC - Multiple snowmobilers fall through ice on Lake Gogebic since Friday according to the Michigan State Police.  Last Friday a trooper from the Wakefield Post responded to a report of a snowmobile that went through the ice on the lake around 10:30 pm. Others safely retrieved the rider.  Police say while the rider was uninjured, she was quickly rushed to a nearby location to warm up.  According to DNR personnel, two more snowmobilers broke through the ice on Lake Gogebic Sunday night.  Troopers say in total there have been four people have gone through the ice on Lake Gogebic over the last several day. There have been no reported fatalities.
