EAGLE RIVER, Wis. - ATV and UTV trails in Vilas County are closing on Thursday, October 31.  Vilas County has over 37 miles of funded trails.  The trail system had its earliest opening to date, with the trail system opening on May 1.  Once the trails close, volunteers will maintain the trails until it is time to open them as snowmobile trails.
