IRONWOOD - The state gas price average is making its way closer to going under $3 a gallon this week after falling 12 cents from last week.  Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.04 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. Rising gasoline stocks, alongside lower demand, pump prices are expected to drop even further. Around the Upper Peninsula, the lowest gas prices continue to be in Ironwood at $2.89 per gallon this morning. The highest in Mackinac County at $3.42 per gallon.
