MADISON -- Gov. Tony Evers is kicking off the 4th annual Statewide Budget Listening Session Tour to hear directly from Wisconsinites as he prepares the 2025-27 executive budget.  His first stop will be in Appleton today.  These sessions are scheduled for Appleton, La Crosse, Milwaukee, and Ashland. However, there is also an opportunity to join virtually on Dec. 16th.  According to the press release, this session provides individuals with the opportunity to share their ideas and offer feedback on the state’s biennial budget, while allowing the governor to gain insight into the critical issues impacting Wisconsin.  Topics to be covered include rising costs and national inflation, supporting children and public schools, healthcare affordability and accessibility, and other key issues.
