IRONWOOD – After Strong Thunderstorms pushed through the U.P. and Northern Wisconsin last night a WIND ADVISORY GOES IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING...West winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph can be expected today with the Highest wind gusts expected in the high terrain near Lake Superior.  Last night storms that pushed across the U.P. and Northern Wisconsin left many without power this morning.  Xcel Energy reporting power outages near Mercer and Manitowish Waters this morning.  In the U.P. multiple power outages are being reported in Baraga County.  At the Broadcast Center in Ironwood, we picked up just under 2 inches of rain from yesterday’s storms.  1.94 inches in the rain gauge as of 7:00 this morning.
