IRONWOOD - The Ironwood Area Schools Board of Education discussed the condition of the school bus garage on Ayer Street. As work to update the building has been underway, it’s become apparent that the door needed maintenance. The current bus bay door would be best replaced with double doors that would allow clear access to parking bays and would allow the garage to be fully closed to the outside. The board voted and approved a motion to put out a call for bids to replace the door and will include those repairs in the full cost of the refurbishment of the building.
