UPPER MICHIGAN - Hunting Law changes are coming to the U.P.  The Natural Resource Committee met yesterday to vote on proposals to change hunting in Michigan. The focus of these 10 amendments is to regulate the deer population.  One amendment moves the number of antlerless deer hunting permits from 1,000 to zero in the Mideast U.P. and from 1,000 to 500 in the Midwest UP.  The next meeting for the NRC IS Aug. 8 in Detroit.  The Natural Resources Commission is a seven-member public body whose members are appointed by the Governor.
