GOGEBIC COUNTY – The Gogebic County Road Commission announcing that they will be lifting Spring Weight Restrictions on all Gogebic County Roads as of 6am tomorrow morning.

GOGEBIC / ONTONAGON / IRON COUNTIES – The Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park is slowly opening for the season.  Be aware that South Boundary Road that runs through the park remains CLOSED at this time.  Park officials say Presque Isle is day use only for now and trails are now open for hiking, the campgrounds including Union Bay Campground will open for the season on May 15th.  In Iron County Campgrounds at Saxon Harbor, Lake of the Falls, Weber Lake and Schomberg Park open for the season today.

BESSEMER – Today is the last day to sign up for the Bessemer City wide Garage sale this Saturday.  You can sign up your sale at General Insurance in Bessemer.  Maps of all the sales will be available starting tomorrow.
