BESSEMER – Saturday is Bessemer’s citywide garage sale.  Maps will be posted on Friday, May 9th.  Printed copies will also be available outside General Insurance Agency Friday through Saturday.  The Deadline to register your sale and get on the map is Thursday.  You can Register at General Insurance Agency.  The Bessemer VFW saying they will be participating this year with various sporting goods, housewares, clothing, holiday decor,  toys, and much more!!! The VFW will also be serving brats and pop.

N. WISCONSIN – The Wisconsin inland fishing season opened on Saturday, May 3rd.  All Wisconsin residents and nonresidents age 16 or older are required to purchase a fishing license before they cast their lines which can be purchased online at gowild.wi.gov.  The DNR recommends knowing the bag and size limits for the areas you plan to fish. Hook and line fishing and trout fishing regulations can be found at dnr.wisconsin.gov.

IRONWOOD – After 3 years the White Rabbit Wine Bar and Bottle Shop in downtown Ironwood announcing that they will be closing at the end of this month.  The owners saying on Facebook that the bar will re-open in July with a different name and with a similar concept!
