ONTONAGON COUNTY - A planned electric service outage is scheduled for next Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m. ET and may continue until 6 a.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 24.  The outage will impact some customers and members served by UPPCO, L’Anse Utilities, Ontonagon REA and Baraga Utilities.  The outage is to allow electric crews to replace four aging electric poles on a 69,000-volt power line to avoid potential unplanned power outages during the winter.
