MADISON - The City of Madison Clerk’s Office said nearly 200 absentee ballots were not processed correctly in the City of Madison during the 2024 General Election.  The Clerk’s Office said while the 193 uncounted ballots would not have affected the result of any race or referendum, it apologized to voters and said it is taking steps to ensure this never happens again.  One batch of ballots were found on November 12th with a second batch being discovered on December 3rd.
