GOGEBIC / ONTONAGON COUNTY - Snowplows are now in full force keeping the roads clear.  Michigan drivers are reminded of a law signed back in July making it illegal to drive within 200 feet of a snowplow.  Drivers who do drive too close can be fined as much as $100. The Michigan State Police says this law is meant to keep plows and drivers safe. Under the new law if stopped It’s up to an officer whether to give a motorist a ticket or a warning.
