IRONWOOD - The average gas price average in Michigan continues its rollercoaster-like trend by falling only 3 cents from a week ago.  Across the state, drivers are paying an average of $3.07 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas. This price is 7 cents less than this time last month and 16 cents less than this time last year. Meantime the national average still sits higher than the state by 9 cents at $3.16 per gallon.  Around Upper Michigan, the lowest price is in Menominee County at $2.97 per gallon. The highest is in Mackinac County at $3.30 per gallon Ironwood prices 3 cents less than the National Average and 6 cents more than the state average at $2.13 per gallon this morning.
