N. WISCONSIN - The WIAA has released the Girls High School Basketball pairings for next week's state tournament beginning with regional action starting Tuesday February 24th. In Division 5 the Hurley Northstars will be on the road as a #9 seed. THey will play #8 seed Niagara at 7pm. The winner will play #1 seed Florence on Friday February 27th in Florence. THe regional dial is set for Saturday Feb 28th at 7pm. Other Division 5 games find #12 Elcho at #5 Butternut, #11 Mellen travels to #6 Suring and #10 Chequamegon is at #7 Gillett all those games are set for 7pm. In Division 4 #12 Ashland is at #5 Ladysmith in Division 3 #11 Northland Pines goes to #6 Altonna and #10 Stanley/Boyd is at #7 Northwestern in Division 2 #9 Wausau East travels to #8 Lakeland.
