ASHLAND - An Ashland man has been accused of sexual assault of two people. 18-year-old Elijah Fels has been charged with four counts of first-degree sexual assault/contact or intercourse with a pre-teen and one charge of strangulation/suffocation. In an interview with law enforcement, a member of Fel’s family said he sexually assaulted her three times, starting when she was five, in 2017. He assaulted her again in 2021 and 2023. Fels also assaulted a young relative of his ex-girlfriends in 2024. The charges against Fels are serious felonies and if convicted he could be sentenced to more than 240 years. Fels next appearance in court is a status conference on the 17th.
