ASHLAND – In Ashland U.S Highway 2 was closed for a time early Wednesday morning between Sandborn Avenue and Wisconsin Highway 13 North. Due to ongoing snowfall, the highway was declared impassable and closed on the Chequamegon Bayfront. The road has since reopened.
