IRON COUNTY – The snow good news for snowmobile enthusiasts.  The Iron County snowmobile trails will reopen tomorrow morning, 7am. The Mercer Area Sno-goers and the White Thunder Riders are out grooming trails. As a reminder, Trail 11A remains closed and THE TURTLE FLAMBEAU FLOWAGE, AND ANY WATERBODY, IS NOT CONSIDERED SAFE TO RIDE. The flowage is no longer marked.  Bayfield County snowmobile trails are now open but will close on Sunday, at 11:59 pm.  Due to the short amount of time to ride, Bayfield County Snowmobile Alliance will not be sending groomers out for the recent snowfall.  Snowmobilers are reminded to ride with caution and watch for standing water, icy spots, and low snow areas.
