MINOCQUA – The Lakeland Area Schools receive $55,000 grant to expand mental health resources.    As of February, the district says more than 160 students have used the telehealth and in-person services provided by the school district and district says they are seeing that number consistently growing.  Nationally since the pandemic, cases of anxiety and depression have increased by 25% among teenagers.  The Lakeland Area Consortium districts include North Lakeland Elementary, Lakeland Union High School, Arbor Vitae/Woodruff School, MHLT, and Lac Du Flambeau School District.
