VILAS COUNTY - At his appearance in court for a preliminary hearing, 56-year-old James Johnson of St. Germain waived his right to that hearing in Vilas County Court. Johnson is accused of stabbing his 61-year-old sister, Kelly, to death in a family dispute in March in Cloverland. The Vilas County judge he stood before found there is enough to move forward with a trial. Johnson’s arraignment, where he’ll enter his plea, is scheduled for the 21st. Johnson continues to be held on a $1 million cash bond.
