BESSEMER – Earth Day was yesterday and Sherri Doney Nyquist’s Washington School third grade celebrated Earth Day by learning about the Iron Belle Trail with Enni Gregas, representing Friends of the Iron Belle Trail.  The students also did their part and showed their commitment to care for the Earth by collecting and removing trash along the Trail yesterday.  Students at Gogebic Community College celebrated Earth Day by helping clean up the GCC campus. The college provided snacks and refreshments to students that participated.
