MARQUETTE - Planned Parenthood of Michigan says it will permanently close its Marquette Health Center, their only center in the U.P. effective Apr. 30, with the last patient appointments taking place Apr. 25.  According to Planned Parenthood of Michigan, the Trump administration is moving to freeze $27.5 million Title X family planning funds due to alleged violations of the president’s ‘DEI’ executive orders.  For most of Upper Michigan, the closest Planned Parenthood location after the closures will in Green Bay, Wisconsin or Traverse City.
