IRONWOOD - Three people were arrested in Gogebic County following an investigation that uncovered a plan to distribute meth and other controlled substances in Gogebic County. GIANT -the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team arrested Shane Thomas Reinfelder, 39, of Pickford, Michigan; Isaac Wayne Sawyer, 31, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Layla Rose Filipek, 20, of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, early Sunday morning, after GIANT investigators tracked their vehicle into Ironwood.  The investigation into the distribution plot began in early May when it was learned that Reinfelder was in the Milwaukee area, trying to obtain meth to bring back to Gogebic County.  All three arrested were arraigned in 98th District Court at the Gogebic County Courthouse on Tuesday.  Cash bonds of $100,000 each were set for Reinfelder and Sawyer.  Reinfelder also has a hold placed on him by Door County, Wisconsin.  Sawyer is on parole for armed robbery.  Filipek was given a $50,000 bond.  Additional court dates have not been set as of yet.
