WESTERN U.P. / N. WISCONSIN – After the fire danger was considered low following rain late last week it’s starting to creep up again and is now at VERY HIGH due to low Relative Humidity and gusting winds. East winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts of 30 to 35 mph are forecast for this afternoon and early evening.  Minimum relative humidity values of 22 to 30 percent are also expected. Together, these conditions could lead to the rapid spread of fires. NO OUTDOOR OPEN DEBRIS BURNING is allowed today.  A WIND ADVISORY WILL GO IN EFFECT AT 10 AM THIS MORNING TO 1 AM TOMORROW for Bayfield County in our listening area.  You can Check burning restrictions and fire danger by going to the DNR Website.
