SAXON - During the meeting of the Iron County Board of Supervisors approved funding for the purchase of a stage for the Iron County fairgrounds in Saxon and heat pumps for the Court House. The rental of a stage over the last few years has cost about $16,000. The board agreed to grant a loan to the Fair Board for $40,000 from the general obligation fund. The board also approved $85,000 to replace heat pumps in the courthouse. The money will come from the county’s remaining monies from the American Rescue Plan Act.
