LA POINTE - The “Point to La Pointe” swim will return on Saturday, August 3. The event sees hundreds of swimmers travel from the mainland to Madeline Island, a 2.1-mile journey. This year’s event is already full. Organizers say they now need volunteers.  Volunteers are needed before, during and after the swim.
