N WISCONSIN - The head of the Wisconsin's Public Service Commission says that almost every area of the state will have broadband access by the year 2030.  The PSC Chair said that they are expecting to roll out $1.1 billion in federal grant money early next year.  This comes after Wisconsin has spent around $200 million since 2019 to expand internet access statewide.  More than 400,000 homes and businesses have received expanded services since 2019.  According to the Department of Commerce, in 2023 around a quarter of a million homes in Wisconsin lacked high speed internet services.
