IRON COUNTY - Deputy Jacob Colassaco of the Iron County Sheriff’s Office received a Protect and Serve award Friday in Green Bay.  He was presented the award by the Green Bay Packers.  The awards ceremony included a luncheon and a tour of Lambeau Field.  Back on January 6th Deputy Colassaco was traveling through Marenisco, while off duty.  Deputy Colassaco observed a house that appeared to be on fire. He called 911 and then went to the house to alert the occupants.  Deputy Colassaco was able to wake the sleeping homeowners and got them out safely.
