IRONWOOD - Ironwood mayor Kim Corcoran announced that she’ll run for representative of the 110th District in the Michigan House. She’ll be running against incumbent Republican Greg Markkanen of Hancock. Corcoran has been mayor of Ironwood for the past seven years and has served on the Ironwood City Commission for 15. The 110th District includes Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw and Ontonagon Counties. In her announcement, she said she is working on setting up a website for her candidacy and should start campaigning and fundraising in the next couple of weeks.
