BELL, WISCONSIN - The Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a complaint of suspected neglect of over a dozen horses in the town of Bell.  Evidence was gathered after a court-ordered inspection warrant to further investigate the conditions and treatment of the horses.  Authorities say the court issued a separate search and seizure warrant, seizing more than 15 horses.  The horses were then examined by veterinarians.  The sheriff’s office says the owner of the animals so far has been “cooperative.  No names were released.
