IRON COUNTY, MI - New Opioid Settlement May Be Available for Iron County Michigan.

The Iron County Board of Commissioners at their June meeting decided to take some time and gather information before taking advantage of a new, national opioid settlement connected to the Kroger Company that’s available. They agreed that more research was necessary before starting the process to accept the settlement. Iron County has received previous allocations from opioid settlements, and those funds are in a discreet county fund. The vote on the settlement was unanimous. The next meeting of the board of commissioners will be July 30th.
