ASHLAND COUNTY- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is looking for feedback on an upcoming road project. Crews will be resurfacing Highway 169 from Mellen to the Iron County line next year starting in May and continuing throughout the summer of next year. Leaders say the current pavement is deteriorated and they hope to address other issues while fixing the surface. That includes widening intersections, replacing culverts, replacing guard rails, and more. The road will stay open during construction except for a few exceptions.  We have a link on the WUPM website where those that live in the construction zone can send comments regarding the upcoming project.  https://wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/nw/wis169ac/default.aspx
