HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING for Ashland, Bayfield and Price Counties.  Heat index values of 100 degrees today for all of Northern Wisconsin and the Western U.P..  Thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon into tonight. Some of these storms could become severe with large hail up to 2 inches in diameter, damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, and heavy rain.
