IRONWOOD - The team that has run ABR Trails in Erwin Township has announced that the operation will soon be transferred to the Anderson Bluffs and River Trails Foundation, a 501C charity by the spring of 2025. Eric Anderson and Angela Santini have run a full-service ski touring center for cross country enthusiasts for the past couple of decades. At a recent meeting of the Ironwood City Commission, Scott Anderson, an ABR board member and Eric’s brother outlined the tremendous contributions his brother and Angela Santini have made to community through the trails and the benefit the transfer to the foundation will hold, emphasizing that the board wants to expand on the local history of Nordic skiing and expand the area economy by encouraging year-round tourism.
