BAYFIELD – The Wisconsin DOT is warning that a detour due to a reconstruction project in Washburn could result in major backups for those going to the 62nd annual Bayfield Apple Festival in a few weeks.  WisDOT is encouraging drivers traveling from the west to take WIS 13 through Port Wing and Cornucopia into Bayfield.  Otherwise expect delays Apple Fest weekend if passing through the City of Washburn on Highway 13 because of the construction.
