IRON COUNTY, Mich. - An Iron County, Michigan man is on trial for second-degree murder and manslaughter this week.  James Clement of Felch Township is charged in Iron County, MIchigan Trial Court with four felonies: second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation, and lying to a peace officer in a violent crime investigation of four years or more.  Clement is accused of killing Ralph Schuirmann. Details about how Schuirmann was killed were not clear in the complaint.  According to the Iron County Prosecutor’s Office, the trial began on Monday with jury selection. Since then, the prosecution has examined two witnesses.
