VILAS COUNTY - The Boulder Junction town board, voting in favor of a committee to plan the town’s 100-year anniversary celebration in 2027. Library director Cherie Sanderson, chamber director Mary Jones and chamber assistant director Amanda Chartrand, along with the town’s historical society are leading the effort. The board gave the go-ahead to form the committee, however members have not yet been appointed. The first meeting of the centennial celebration committee is scheduled for next Wednesday, the 9th.
