UPPER PENINSULA - Teachers in the U.P. can now submit their students’ short stories for an annual contest.  The Dandelion Cottage Short Story Contest and the Upper Peninsula Publishers and Authors Association (UPPAA) is accepting the short stories for the eighth year. Teachers can submit an unlimited number of stories.  Stories must be between 500 to 4,000 words, Home-schooled students not affiliated with a local school may submit directly to the contest, short stories must be submitted electronically by January 31st. Paper submissions are not accepted.  Cash prizes will be awarded to students in a number of different categories.  We have a link on our Facebook page and websites with the full list of contest rules.  https://dandelioncottage.org/contest-rules/
