BESSEMER - The Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center will be conducting a series of town halls across the U.P. in a three-day tour designed to strengthen the relationship between the center and local Veterans.  The tour will travel to five communities, giving Vets the opportunity to meet face to face with VA leadership and discuss their concerns. VA Medical Center Director John P. Shealey says the VA wants to hear from residents. The tour will be making a stop today at the Bessemer VFW Post at 5 pm. County Veterans Service Officers will join VA Medical Center leadership at each stop, ready to answer questions about benefits and services. Veterans’ family members and community stakeholders are encouraged to attend.
