IRONWOOD - The state gas price average continues its downward trend for the second week in a row, now down 6 cents from a week ago.  Experts say if Trump tariffs against Canada do go into effect later today prices could increase some in the upper Midwest which receives gas supplies from Canada.  Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $3.03 per gallon for regular unleaded gas. That price is 14 cents less than this time last month and 1 cent more than this time last year. It is still below the national average which is $3.10 per gallon.  Around Upper Michigan, the lowest average is in Dickinson County at $2.94 per gallon. The highest is still in Mackinac County at $3.33 per gallon.  Ironwood’s prices at $3.09 per gallon as of this morning.
