LANSING / MADISON - Yesterday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer released a statement following the shooting of former President Trump, urging all Americans to do their part to turn down the heat of political discourse in the country.    Governor Tony Evers said in posts on X that his thoughts are with the president and all the people at the rally.
