VILAS COUNTY - One person is dead after a rollover crash early this morning in Vilas County. The Vilas County Sheriff’s Office says it was called to the scene at around 12:12 a.m. this morning to St. Germain Blvd and the intersection highway 155.  Deputies say the car was traveling east on STH 70 and proceeded through the intersection onto St. Germain Blvd at a high rate of speed. The car struck a large boulder causing it to roll several times. The male driver was alone and was thrown out of the vehicle. He was flown to Aspirus Hospital in Wausau where he was pronounced dead.  The name is not being released at this time.
