GOGEBIC COUNTY - Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced Wednesday that 28 villages and cities across the state with populations less than 10,000 will receive road funding grants totaling $5.1 million.  In Gogebic County Bessemer will receive just under $65,000 for a street project on Cinnabar Street.  The funds come from the Transportation Economic Development Fund and can be used for road resurfacing, culvert replacement, pavement crack sealing and other preservative measures.
