MINOCQUA – The Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua was locked down for a time Friday morning due to a false alarm.  At around 8:15am Friday, Minocqua Police Department were called to the school after it was reported that an armed intruder was on campus.  Law enforcement arrived shortly after and began sweeping the campus. It was determined during the investigation that there was never an active threat to students and that the alert came from an accidental activation from an outside source.  The system flaw was immediately corrected, and classes resumed normally shortly after.
